Huru, meaning to glow, rise (of the sun), is an ocean inspired jewellery label established in Mount Maunganui, east coast of New Zealand. From humble beginnings wire wrapping pāua necklaces to bending silver spoons into rings whilst travelling, this passion soon blossomed into learning to create jewellery pieces made to last. Each piece is uniquely handcrafted from high quality metals and from locally sourced pāua.

All jewellery is handmade to order in my beachside studio. Drawing influence from art, nature and everything I see along the road that captures my eye. Each piece is carefully soldered together or hand carved in wax and then casted into solid sterling silver or gold and hand polished for a unique look.
